Commercial & business finance
Business lending starts with understanding how your business operates. Blake helps you work through the purpose, structure and repayment considerations behind commercial property, equipment and business funding.
Be clear about the purpose
Buying premises, investing in equipment and funding working capital are different needs. We’ll discuss what the finance is for, how long it is needed and how repayments would fit the cash flow of your business.
Know what a lender may ask for
Requirements vary, but lenders may consider financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, existing debt, property details and business forecasts. The information required depends on the facility, security and circumstances.
Compare more than the rate
Term length, fees, security, guarantees, review conditions and early repayment provisions can materially affect a facility. Commercial loans can also have different repayment and refinancing risks from a residential home loan.
Use the right professional advice
Have your accountant and solicitor review tax, legal, security and guarantee implications. Business lending is not automatically covered by the same consumer credit protections as a home loan. Understand the terms before signing.
Start a practical conversation
Tell Blake what the business is trying to achieve and your timeframe. We’ll identify the information needed to assess available options. Funding, terms and timing are subject to lender assessment; no approval or turnaround is guaranteed.
Let’s work out what fits.
Tell Blake a little about your plans. We’ll take it from there, one clear step at a time.
